Century 21 wanted to attract new agents to the Century 21 franchise in a very unique and efficient way. By connecting two insights that included the growing number of entrepreneurs among Latinos and the increase of Latinas in the workforce, the idea of celebrating these powerful Latina entrepreneurs was born and the Empowering Latina program was launch in 2017 in Miami, FL, and expanded in 2018 to Houston and in 2019 to Los Angeles.
The program granted scholarships to a number of Latinas to covered the costs of the required course and state test to obtain their Real Estate License. Once they gained their license, Century 21 paired the winners with local Century 21 brokers, helping these Latina women start a successful career in Real Estate.
